Stories from the land, stories from the sea was to be the follow up to IKON's 'Everyone, Everything, Everywhere Ends' album from 2014. Chris did a number of acoustic demos, and the band also did quite a number of tracks. The new single 'Silence is Calling', was taken from the album sessions, that have since been shelved. All the tracks were recorded at Toyland studios in Melbourne between 2015 and 2019 and gives an insight in Chris's songwriting. This album was originally only available from the bands website. Most tracks were written, whilst Chris was traveling around Australia, experiencing the Australian history and culture, hence the title referring to the sea and the outback.
